CRAFTED
PAST

Born in Waverley, Nova Scotia, Teaghlach Gold is more than just a brewery—it's a tribute to the timeless art of craft. Our journey began with a simple mission: to honor heritage techniques while pushing the boundaries of flavor. From our crisp pilsners and bold IPAs to the seasonal depth of our festbier and piquant dry ciders, every batch is a chapter of our story, brewed for the modern connoisseur who appreciates roots.

01

MALTING & MASHING

The process begins with our selected premium grains from Nova Scotia. We mill and mix them with pure Waverley water in the mash tun, converting starches into the essential sugars that form the foundation of our pilsners and stouts.

02

THE TRADITIONAL BOIL

In the kettle, the wort is brought to a rigorous boil. This is where we introduce our locally sourced hops, adding the characteristic bitterness, floral aromas, and stability that Teaghlach Gold drinkers associate with our award-winning IPAs and Pale Ales.

03

COLD FERMENTATION

Temperatures are carefully monitored as our house yeast goes to work. For our lagers and pilsners, we utilize long, cold fermentation periods, allowing the beer to naturally clarify and develop its crisp, clean, and refreshing profile.

04

FINISHING & PACKAGING

Our commitment to quality culminates in the final stage. Every batch of IPA, stout, and cider is conditioned to perfection before being packaged in our distinctive amber bottles, ready to be enjoyed across Nova Scotia.
